Common Uses

Klipal is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs used to relieve the inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis (the most common form of arthritis), and ankylosing spondylitis (arthritis and stiffness of the spine). It is also prescribed for immediate relief of pain and menstrual discomfort.

How to Take

Klipal comes as a tablet to take it orally. It usually is taken every 4-6 hours as needed. It may be taken with or without food. Follow the directions of your doctor or pharmacist. Do not take a larger dose take it more often, or for a longer period than your doctor tells you to.

Warning and Precautions

Klipal may cause dizziness or drowsiness. These effects may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Klipal with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.

Do not take more than the recommended dose or use for longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor.

If your symptoms do not get better within 5 to 7 days or if they get worse, check with your doctor.

Klipal may interfere with certain lab test results. Make sure that your doctor and lab personnel know that you are taking Klipal.

Tell your doctor or dentist that you take Klipal before you receive any medical or dental care, emergency care, or surgery.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose may include: blurred vision; confusion; hallucinations; seizures; severe dizziness, lightheadedness, or headache; severe drowsiness; unusually fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat; vomiting. Visit your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Storage

Store Klipal at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Klipal out of the reach of children and away from pets.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects: dizziness; drowsiness; excitability; headache; nausea; nervousness or anxiety; trouble sleeping; weakness. Seek medical attention right away if any of these side effects occur.
